
Professor of physical therapy at Washington University in St. Louis, trained a 28-year police and
weightlifter named Derrick Crass with EMS.
Crass was preparing for the Olympics in 1988. He trained with both conventional training and
EMS training. After two weeks, he was able to improve his maximum weights around 20 kg.
This increase, he kept training for four weeks then stopped exercising. Then, he started for two
weeks again with EMS and recorded his result with amazing strength gains to about 38 kg.
